Welcome to CMJ UK

The Church’s Ministry among Jewish People (CMJ) started in the UK in 1809. We have grown over the last 200+ years, spreading out across the UK and beyond as our worldwide partners actively carry the ministry through every continent. We pray the Lord will keep His hand on all we do, as we continue to impact the Jewish people with the truth about Messiah Yeshua, until the day “all Israel will be saved” (Romans 11:26).

Update to Website Statement following Government Announcement on July 12th 2021

CMJ UK remains concerned about the ongoing covid crisis and will seek to do all we can to support those who are suffering and to work wisely as we seek to adjust to the changing context.

In the context of the new advice and protocols the following steps will be taken by 1st September at the latest:

  • CMJ staff will be reducing use of the furlough scheme and all CMJ UK staff will soon be working their full contracted hours. Many staff have been working their contracted hours throughout the covid crisis, yet we are very thankful for the security and flexibility the furlough scheme has provided to us, and to so many other charities, agencies and businesses.
  • CMJ Office staff based at Eagle Lodge will be available to answer the phone from Monday to Friday between 9am to 1pm, 2pm to 5pm. At other times the answer phone service will be available.
  • CMJ staff will be involved in many more ‘face to face’ ministry opportunities and meetings  - including recommencing our monthly staff day in August. Yet opportunities to work from home and to make use of zoom meetings etc. will continue to be encouraged where appropriate.

We will keep you updated as the context changes in the months ahead.

With thanks to all supporters and volunteers for your partnership in the Gospel during these testing times.

With kind regards and shalom

Alex
